Job Position: Social Media Specialist (Volunteer position)
Location: Jerusalem, Israel
Description:
We are seeking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist who will develop and implement social media strategies, oversee social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn), scale current online followers, drive community engagement per funnel, help perform market research periodically, curate social media schedules, generate analytical reports for all social media streams, and help implement overall marketing campaigns. The Social Media Specialist reports directly to the Head of Marketing, andworks closely with the Marketing, Publications and Media departments. Social Media Specialist: Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage ICEJ social media strategies
- Define most important social media KPIs per quarter
- Handle and oversee social media content and accounts (main ones are Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn)
- Measure the success of social media campaigns through reports and basic analytics after every campaign run
- Monitor community engagement and suggest content optimization with main buyer personas in mind
- Help build social media presence and credibility online; act as an ICEJ ambassador at all times
- Work with Content Strategist for social media messaging and scheduling
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Collaborate with Marketing, Publications, and Media teams
- Provide constructive feedback and present ideas to the Marketing team without hesitation!
Social Media Specialist: Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Joyful at all times
- Excited about social media and digital audience engagement
- 1-2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Background in social media strategizing for followers growth and organic audience engagement
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn
- Understanding of social media metrics and basic analytics
- Office and G-suite proficient
- Excellent multitasking skills, has good time management and able to handle different projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and particular with minor mistakes on posts online
- Great team player and can work under pressure
- Go-getter attitude who can work outside core hours if necessary
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Sprout Social, and Canva
Bonus skills to have:
- Experience in graphics design or media production
- Exposure to fundraising efforts
- Insight in SEO or any digital marketing discipline
- Use of Adobe or any editing tool
- Knowledge around Twitter, Telegram, MeWe and/or other social media mediums
- Training on Salesforce, Survey Monkey, Pardot, and/or HubSpot
- Degree in Marketing or any related field
- English as primary language
- Able to converse or write in different languages
In general, the following applies for International volunteers who are accepted to serve at the ICEJ. (For Israelis, the terms of service will be negotiated):
- Housing in a two bedroom apartment with a staff member of the same gender. This enables everyone to have their private bedroom.
- Israeli medical insurance.
- Israeli cellphone or sim card for those who prefer their personal device.
- A monthly cash stipend of NIS 2,000 plus NIS 550 lunch assistance. That is about US$800 at the current exchange rate. Staff members pay their apartment utilities (electricity, gas and water), as well as a condominium fee if applicable.
Job Position: ICEJ Videographer/Editor - TV Department (Volunteer position)
Location: Jerusalem, Israel
Description:
The International Christian Embassy is looking for a full-time Videographer/ Editor to assist in the daily production of quality, original programming. This includes, but is not limited to the Encounter Israel Program, Promotional Videos, Feast of Tabernacles Content, Envision Content, and more. If you have a passion and drive to lead the way in the production of content that will make a difference, then you might be the person we’re looking for to fill this position. You enjoy:
- Getting out of the office and meeting people with interesting stories
- Going on film shoots in a variety of terrains- in Israel and abroad
- Being creative and teachable, and are a seasoned video editor ready to use your skillset to share the vision of ICEJ with viewers
- Technical aspects of cinematography, which includes familiarity with Sony cameras, lighting, use of lenses, frame rates and more
- Problem Solving- adapting to the ever-changing environment of production that can be caused by unforeseen factors like bad weather, equipment problems or even artist changes in direction

You will:
- Be a shooter on productions in the field, edit the videos, and be a part of the process all the way to the final product, working closely with the TV Director
- Be a part of a production that airs on Christian TV Networks around the world
- Operate and oversee camera equipment and will need knowledge and experience with the concepts of cinematography
- Work in a cross-cultural environment at the ICEJ with a staff from more than 15 nations
- Experience first-hand the Jewish and Christian holidays in Israel
You have:
- Experience working as part of a team to bring a project from pre-production to post-production
- A college degree (desired) and/or completion of a certificate program in Broadcast communications, production, cinematography, video editing or a related field
- A website or demo reel or video links demonstrating your work
- Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom)
- A willingness to live and adapt to life in a foreign country
- The ability to make decisions under pressure and present solutions to challenges
